Joe Nerly, 90, passed away June 19, 2017.
A celebration of Joe's life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017 at McLaren's Chapel, 801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery at a later date.
Joe always had a project to keep him occupied and enjoyed working in his garage. He especially enjoyed working on his Model A and being a member of the Central Iowa Model A club.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary; three daughters, Mary Jo Nerly, Sandy (Jim) Burgess and Janice Nerly; and two sisters, Marie Eynetich and Sharon Beyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
