He lived at 1523 Garrard St. when most of his children were born. Then he bought a house at 1307 Scott St. He and his wife were married at St. Joseph Church at 12th and Greenup in Covington, Ky. All of his children were baptized at the same church. In 1878 he was a distiller at Dorsel & Wulfanger Brewery.
