I am working with old family records--may not be accurate. I've got Gabriel Gustave de Crocketagne,, then Antoine Dessasure Peronett de Crocketagne b. 1643 m. Louise Desaix from Bordeaux. Then Joseph Louis Crockett b. 1-9-1676 in Bordeau m. Sarah Stuart of Donegal Ireland. Then (and this is where we differ I think) I've got a James Edwin Crockett b. 1711 m. Mary Virginia Wood. Then Alexander Crockett b. 1740 "killed at Guilford Courthouse in 1781" m. Margaret Campbell. Then Betsy Crockett d.1802 m. 1792 Thomas Iles b. 1766 in PA. Where am I going wrong or is this new info or did my predecessors goof up? (May be another son of Joseph Louis Crockett that I missed, Joe Payne)
