We do not know in what ship he came, in what company, nor from what port he sailed. …"

    "John Wadham came from Somersetshire, England, and settled in Wethersfield, Connecticut, between 1645 and 1650. … At the General court held May 20, 1658, at Hartford, 'John Wadom,' with others, was made free before the Court. At the County Court on March 5, 1667-8, he was appointed Constable for Wethersfield, and at the General Court on April 1, 1674, he was freed from training, watching and warding. … John Wadham died December 19, 1676, and in his will, proven at Wethersfield, January 19, 1677, the name of his wife is not mentioned."
