John married about 1680 Mary Tinkham, born in Plymouth 5 Aug 1661, died in Middleborough 1731 aged 67 years; daughter of Ephraim and Mary (Brown) Tinkham and descendant of Pilgrim Peter Brown. The will of Ephraim Tinkham of Plymouth (Mary's father), dated 17 January 1683/4, proved 5 June 1685, names wife Mary; daughter Mary Tomson, and other children.
