    John, like most of the Shultz's was in law enforcement.
    He belonged to a Motorcycle Division of the police department.
    Supposedly, it was he who wandered West first - John to follow later.
    John lost his left leg by amputation, at the age of 86 from gangrene.
    He was long remembered for his creativity in gardening and landscaping.
