- Page 221.--11th October, 1808. John Ott's will--To wife, Mary; to son, John (Jack horse and Allen Mare); to each of three daughters and granddaughter; son, David; to daughter. Sally (unmarried). Executors, wife Mary; son, John, and Alexander Berryhill. Teste: Thos. Young, John Cooper, Wm. Cooper, Samuel Young. Proved, 28th November, 1808. John and Alexander qualify.
- Page 200.--5th July, 1811. Frederick Hanger's will (signed in German)--To wife and infant and unmarried daughters; son, Frederick, infant; daughter, Betsey Steele, wife to Wm. Steele; daughters, Caty Shuey (Sliney), Polly Engleman, Hannah Ott; daughters, Barbara, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Eve, Sarah, Christiana. Executors, wife, Barnard Lowman, and Geo. Baylor. Teste: G. Washington Swoope, Jacob Swoope, Christian Beard. Proved, January Court, 1813. Widow Maria and others qualify. (Note: Frederick Hanger was John Ott's father-in-law).
