McKamey, John - entered service 1781 in Pendleton County, South Carolina; died 1/1/1834 age 70; married 11/5/1795 to Mary at home of William McKamey, Augusta County, Virginia; widow applied for Pension age 78 in Roane County, Tennessee, 1854; Pension Application Rejected, insufficient proof of service; children's births: Anna 11/23/1797, Ischela 6/21/1799, Margret 1801, Malinda 1/24/1803, Sarah 3/24/1804, Sinthy 2/1/1807, John 12/3/1809, William 4/24/1812, Robert Harvey 12/15/1815, Pamela Jane 3/15/1818, Mary/Polly Minerva 2/1/1820, & Nancy Eleanor 1/22/1824; affidavit made in 1852 in Roane County, Tennessee by Eleanor C. Martin age 66 that she was present at soldier's marriage. F-R6743, R1688.
