    Hotel Builder Died Near Jackson
    John T. Leach, Former Owner of Lincoln, Died Tuesday

    Death summoned Joyn Tyler Leach, well known here, at his home south of Jackson Tuesday. Death was due to erysipelas but he had been a sufferer from dropsy for the past year.
    Mr. Leach, with is cousin A. B. Leach of this city, built the Lincoln Hotel here fifteen years ago, and was the owner of considerable other property here, but a few years ago, disposed of all his local holdings, including his interest in the hotel to M. K. Steele of Jackson. He was 76 years old and was twice married; his first wife dying twenty years ago. Ten years ago, he married Miss Mary Ervin of this city, a sisper of robert, thomas and J. M. Ervin, who survives him. He also leaves one daughter, Mrs. Talma Wright, living on the home farm, and one brother, Spencer Leach of Mt. Sterling.
    The funeral which will be attended by many Wellston relatives, will be hold Thursday morning and the burial will be in the family burying-ground on the Chillicothe pike out of Jackson.
