Obituary, with picture Services were held Wednesday for John W. Laug, 83 of 17 River St., who passed away Sunday afternoon at Zeeland Hospital. Mr. Laug, a lifelong resident of Coopersville, was active many years with the Farm Bureau. He also served several terms as a deacon in the Coopersville Reformed Church and was active in several of its organizations. Surviving are four sons, Donald of Detroit, Robert of Ravenna, Kenneth and Richard both of Coopersville; three brothers, Henry of Florida, Rev. George of Idaho and William of Illinois; 15 grandchildren. The body reposed at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville; services were held in the Coopersville Reformed Church.
