Obituary, with picture

 Services were held Wednesday for John W. Laug, 83 of 17 River St., who passed away Sunday afternoon at Zeeland Hospital.
 Mr. Laug, a lifelong resident of Coopersville, was active many years with the Farm Bureau.  He also served several terms as a deacon in the Coopersville Reformed Church and was active in several of its organizations.
 Surviving are four sons, Donald of Detroit, Robert of Ravenna, Kenneth and Richard both of Coopersville;  three brothers, Henry of Florida, Rev. George of Idaho and William of Illinois;  15 grandchildren.
 The body reposed at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville;  services were held in the Coopersville Reformed Church.  Interment was in the Coopersville Cemetery.

LAUG - John W. Laug, aged 83 years, of 17 River St., Coopersville, passed away Sunday afternoon at Zeeland Hospital. Surviving are four sons, Donald of Detroit, Robert of Ravenna, Kenneth and Richard, both of Coopersville; 15 grandchildren; three brothers, Henry of Florida, Rev. George Laug of Idaho, William H. of Illinois. Funeral services for Mr. Laug will be held Wednesday 2 o'clock at the Coopersville Reformed Church. Relatives will meet in the church parlors at 1:45 p.m., Rev. Morris Falkert officiating. Burial in Coopersville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call beginning 7 o'clock tonight at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville.
