    John Alexander Gragg, 87-year old pioneer resident of Crowder passed away Saturday afternoon, at his home. He had been ill but a short time. He was born September 10, 1859, at Mont Rose, Md., and came to Crowder 30 years ago. Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church in Crowder and burial, under the direction of Huphrey's, was in the cemetery there. Two daughters, three sons, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, survive. His daughters are, Mrs. A. E. Stanton and Mrs. J D. Bayless, both of Crowder. The sons are, Lewis B. Gragg, of Okemah, Orpha Gragg, Henryetta, and Judd Gragg, of Crowder.
