In the 1920 census, John is living in the Bronx in New York, age 30, a clerk in a railroad company. Wife Lillian F. is 27, born in New York, sons John Jr. is 3 and Edward is 10 months. Also in the house are his in-laws Edward and Ida Erickson from Sweden, their daughter Ebba, daughter Helen and her husband John Ingram. {ED 367, p. 5B}

 In the 1930 census, John is living in White Plains, Westchester Co., New York.  He is 40, born in New York.  His wife Lillian F. is 37; and their children John, 13; Paul E., 6; and Virginia J., 4.  {Ed 356, p. 7b} [from index]

  According to 'Notes on Fitting Genealogy', John Jr. married Lillian Swanson and had three children: John, who was a Dreyfuss salesman, Paul who went to Wisconsin, and Virginia, who married into Demetrie.
