    This indentum the eleventh day in the year of our lord in the year 1835 between John Austin Jr in Hamburg in the county of Erie in the state of New york of the first part and John Austin of the same place of the second part witnesseth that the said partyi of the first part in consideration of the sum of 1000 dollars to him duly paid have sold and by these presents doth grant convey and quick claim to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Dorset county of Bennington and state of Vermont and follows to wit beginning at a balsa wood sapling on the east line of number 39 in the third division and south 85 and half rods to a state and stones and then west 140 rods to stake and stones and north 85 and half rods to beech sapling then east 140 rods to the first matained bounds containing about 75 acres to the same ---together with all and singular appertances, privilages and advantages ----unto the above mentioned and----premises ----appertances and belonging---remainder and remaining rents---profits thereof and also all the estate right and title interest property claim and demand whatsoever is will and law as an equity of the said party of the first part of and or to the same and every part and parcel thereof with the appertances to have and hold the above granted bargained and described premises where the appertances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever in witness of the party of the first part have here unto set his hand and seal this day and year first above written sealed and deliverd in presence of Manual Henshaw, CK Hyde, John Austin Jr. seal State of New York Erie County be it numbered on this 11th day in 1885. Personally approved here on. The subscriber and commission of deeds for the county of Erie The written name John Austin Jr. to me personally known to be the within named grantor and acknowledge that he ----the uses purposes here and maintained that the same be recorded Manual Henshaw, commissioner of deeds in the State of New York Erie County Clerks office J Horace Clark, Clerk of said county due hereby certify that Manuel Henshaw ESQ his name is subscribed to the certificate of the proof or acknowledgement of the annexed instrunents writing was at the time of taking the said proof or acknowledgement of said deeds and forsaid---duly appointed and sworm and authorised to take the same and further I am acquainted with the handwriting of the said commissioner and verify ---signature of Manuel Henshaw subsented to said certificate to be his genuine signature in testimony whereof I have him unto ---my name and affix the seal of court of common pleas of said country this 24th day of April AD 1835 Horace Clark, clerk received and recorded the above ---- in June 6th, 1835 at 6:00 p.m. attest Truman Morse Town Clerk
