Aron Axelsson, a Vaxjo genealogist, provided info on 10/17/06 on the descendants of Anna Peterssdotter. One of her grandchildren, Harald Nilsson, knew nothing about Johan Petersson (b.1845) and his family.

I have not found so many of the 1900-facts in church-books, but in different archives and data-bases - as Census 1880, 1890, 1900, Deaths in Sweden 1947-2002 etc. It is not possible to find many church-books from the last 100 years - they are not available yet. As I do some research for people in Sweden and USA, I have bought some data-bases and also pay for som internet-sights.

The information below is taken from the parish register for the period of 1897-1910 for Tjureda parish.

Page 192, Nykulla norregård Johan Petersson, born 1845-01-30 in Tjureda, married 1877-12-26 to Märta Katarina Johansdotter, born 1844-04-28 in Asa parish, died 1906-04-29 in Tjureda. Son Karl Gustaf Nyqvist, student, born 1880-01-18 in Växjö town. Moved to Nässjö parish 1904-11-12. Daughter Ester Matilda Kristina, born 1883-11-20 in Växjö town. The family moved from page 209 (Nykulla Backagård) 1897-11-15.

Info provided by Aron Axelsson, Kronoberg genealogist, in 10/2006: I sought a little on Johan - he lived in Vaxjo about 1880, had two children Karl Gustaf born 1880-01-18 and Ester Matilda 1883. I have seen that Karl Gustaf was in the military 1900, changed his name to Nykvist and died in Nyköping 1952-12-02. I already sent a question to the Archive in Uppsala about family of Karl Gustaf.

He changed his name when he was in military service, I suppose. I just spoke to the Archive in Uppsala and they will send me the inventory after Karl Gustaf or Alma, where we probably can find their children. - Aron 10/18/06.

Moved to Nässjö parish 1904-11-12.
