A Johann Wilhelm Kolb was imported to Philadelphia on the Two Brothers 28 August 1750. 3 He was the oldest son of the aforementioned Johann Peter Kolb.4 Three years later Johann Peter Kolb followed his son to America arriving in Philadelphia 29 September 1753 on the Rowand. 5 Presumably he was accompanied by his six surviving younger children. Also on the Rowand were Peter Kolb and Johann Christian Kolb. 6 Further study of the Maxsain church records may establish their relationships, if any, to Johann Peter.
