7 Mar 1778: Joanna Willson of Bedford Singlewoman for £233-6-8 conveys to Jonas Gleason of Bedford Husbandman 3 tracts in Bedord totaling about 20 acres: 8+ acres near mill stream, 2+ acres called Hop Yard, 9+ acres bounded by Timothy Willson & Oliver Bacon and others. Acknowledged 9 Mar 1778.

  3. The birth date of about 1730 is a guess. The birth could be earlier, probably not significantly later than 1730. Her father's probate lists the daughters "Sarah, Mary, Johanna, Rebecca, Betty" but this does not appear to be strictly in birth order as Betty must have been older than Rebecca based on her marriage in 1748. Based on Joanna being the mother of Catherine Upton, who married in 1775, so born 1750-1755, the mother probably born 1725-1732.
