Jerman Dugger was born ca 1766 or earlier, assuming he was at least 21 when he married in 1787.

On 4 Sep 1787 “German” Dugger obtained a marriage bond in Brunswick Co., VA to marry Elizabeth Price, daughter of Joseph Price. (This may be the same Joseph Price who married German’s aunt Lurany Dugger in 1784.)

On 1 Apr 1790 John Dugger Surry and wife Frances of Brunswick Co., VA sold 220 acres to Jerman Dugger for L80. It was on the north side of Rocky Run. Witnesses were Sterling Dugger, William Goodrum, Daniel Dugger and Henry Dugger. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 14 page 630).

Jerman Dugger was listed on the 1791 Brunswick Co., VA land tax list with 220 acres.

Elizabeth Price Dugger died sometime before 24 Jan 1791 for on that date Jerman Dugger obtained a marriage bond in Brunswick Co., VA to marry Mary Raney (of full age). Daniel Dugger, Richard Dugger and James Brown were bondsmen.

“Jarman” Dugger was listed on the 1792 and 1793 Brunswick Co., VA land tax lists with 220 acres.

On 19 Oct 1793 John Dugger Jr, John Ferguson and Jerman Dugger witnessed a deed from John Dugger Sr to Daniel Dugger. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 15 page 484).

On 12 Nov 1793 Thomas Gholson, John Dugger Jr, Jarman Dugger and Benjamin Lane witnessed a deed between John Dugger Sr and William Brown. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 15 page 462).

Jerman Dugger was listed on the 1794, 1795 and 1796 Brunswick Co., VA land tax lists with 220 acres each time.

On 13 May 1796 Jerman Dugger and wife Mary of Sussex Co., VA deeded 220 acres to Wright Griffin of Southampton Co., VA for L132. Witnessed by John Dugger Jr, William Raney and Fanny Dugger. (Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 16 page 344).

In Mar 1799 court, Daniel Dugger, John Dugger and “German” Dugger were among the jurors. (Brunswick Co., VA Order Book 18 page 97).

Jerman Dugger was named in his father John Dugger Jr’s Will dated 9 Oct 1801 as “son Jerman Dugger.” (Brunswick Co., VA Will Book 6 page 389).

Jerman Dugger died sometime between 1801 and Mar 1809 in Sussex Co., VA. On that last date Lovel Dugger orphan of German Dugger deceased, chose William Rainey as his guardian.
