Prison keeper of Dover 1670, when he wit. in suit H. Symonds v. Barefoot. … Will, 5 May-20 June 1677 (inv.), gives to s. Jeremiah 10 a. and two yearling steers in his poss. on acc. of £13 given him by his gr.fa. Canney which the testator used in his own behoof; to w. Mary half the ho. and barn for life, and all else to bring up 'our small children'; w. and s. Jeremiah execs., Job Clements and John Roberts overseers. … She m. 2d John Loome. In 1709 the s. Jeremiah and his s. John were cited to adm. his fa.'s est. Ch. (1st 5 by Prov. rec.): Jeremiah, b. 5 June 1656. Mary, b. 15 Apr. 1658, m. 1st bef. 5 May 1677 Ichabod Rollins(1), m. 2d Thomas Ash(3).
