On the 1788 census: Jean LICAIRE, age 48, living with his wife Marie MARBIEAU [MARLBREAUX?], 33, three of her children surnamed DESERT [sic] [his stepchildren] and two of their own daughters, on 6 arpents of land on the right bank. They have 60 quarts of corn, 16 horned cattle, 4 horses and 15 swine on the 1788 census of Lafourche. There are no slaves, but an "engage" named Jean Baptiste LE BLANC, age 20.     Also on the 1795 "Census of Valenzuela," taken after 4 Jan 1796 but dated Dec 1795: Juan LICAIRE, age 52, living with Maria MALBROU, 41, and four children [two of them are FALTEMANs]. There is also a Francisco COMUORE, age 30. [Preceded by Antonio COUPEL and Maria FALTEMENE and three children; followed by household of Christina HENRRY, age 76 and Juan MALBRON, age 25.]
