Records of Jane Stewart

It is unclear if Jane Stewart, brother of William Stewart that married William Marshall ever came to America. Based upon the will of Jane Stewart's brother, William Stewart who died prior to 18 Nov. 1768 in Augusta County, Virginia, it appears that William Marshall had died prior to the writing of William Stewart's will (as shown below) , and since William left the "land and chattels" located in the town of Raffrey (which is located in County Down, Northern Ireland) to his sister Jane Stewart, it appears that Jane stayed in Northern Ireland.

No information has yet been found of any children of their marriage. More research is needed on this family.
