Grandma said that her father James H. Wright lived at the Garden Ground a lot. And that he and Granny lived there after they were married before moving to Grandview. However, on the family copy of his and Granny's marriage certificate, it lists "Mr. James H. Wright of Thayer" and "Miss Mamie A. Goddard of Red Springs."

On a different note, Grandma's information says the same: that James and Mamie lived at the Garden Ground when they were first married and that even some of their children were buried there. She said that they bought the house at Grandview from Charles' widow, Ellen Wright.
