Will of James Shannon of the County of Warren & State of Kentucky
First I give and bequeath to my daughter Paulina R. Dryden one fourth part of my tract of land...
2nd I give to My daughter Paulina all my household and kitchen furniture except the walnut deskwood clock walnut table and walnut bedstead. I also give to my daughter Paulina all the grain and meat ofawls [?] belonging to the farm also my share of the waggon.
3rd I direct that my personal estate first be sold on a twelve months credit that is the part remaining after my daughter Paulina has [?] the portion already divided to her. I then direct the remainder of my landed Estate not yet disposed to be sold on a twelve and eighteen months credit my Executor to hold a lien on the land and personal security if they think necessary of the purchase.
5th My will and desire is that my first wifes children be made as equal shares as practicable in the remainder of my Estate excepting the allotment to my daughter Paulina the payment of all my debts as before described and my rifle [?] ___ that fifty dollars in addition what I have already given my son Samuel will make him equal to the rest of his full brothers and sister.
6[th] I therefore give to my son Samuel fifty dollars. I also believe that one hundred dollars to my daughters Ann R. Alexander in addition to what I have given her will make her equal to her brothers.
