Gifts to South Church in Hartford, lattin Schoole in Hardford, Rev. John Whiting, the poor in Hartford. Wife and son executors.

"His will bears date June 9, 1680, and his death occurred on the 29th of the same month, although his monument in the old cemetery at Hartford gives, erroneously, the date of July 11th." [Note: Source:Morse, Abner. Genealogical Register of the Descendants of Several Ancient Puritans, p. 15, says it says: "died on the 19 of July". But it is described as needing maintenance. On p. 19, this source says he "died at his house in Hartford, on the 29th day of June, 1680".]
