    JAMES, born in Herefordshire, and coming to America with William of Fairfax, as we designate him, m. Ann Morris, circa 1759. Ann b. Orange Co., in 1740. d. 1844, in Monroe Co., Virginia.

    1. William, b. 1760 in Orange Co., VA. m. to Elizabeth Mann 2/18/1785.
    2. Sarah, b. 1762, m. Cottrel Lively 10/24/1790.
    3. John, 9/18/1764. d. 1846. m. Barbara Ann Miller, 8/9/1785.
    4. Mathew, b. 1766. m. Judith Christian 12/4/1798.
    5. James, b. 1768, m. 7/11/1791 Anna Kissinger, d. 10/6/1824. Wife d. 1826.
    6. Henry, 1770, although it has been believed and so sated by some that Henry and Matthew were twins, the idea probably arising from the fact that they were both married on 12/4/1798. m. Jane Ballangree. Henry and Jane living in 1810.
