Information from “Virginia/West Virginia Genealogical Data from Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Records”, Vol. 2, compiled by Patrick G. Wardell, Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. :
- Huey, James - born Augusta County, Virginia; moved abt. age 14 to Chester District, South Carolina, where entered service in 1777; received Pension abt. age 96 in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, 1838 as James Sr.; married 1812 Jane; soldier & wife were deceased when son Thomas applied for pension as adminiatrator of their estates, Jacksonham; James Huey & other heirs applied for pension 1855; A.B. Huey of Georgia applied for bounty land warrant 1853. F-531148, R1358.
