U.S. Army Ret. : Hamilton, James - born 12/24/1758 on Iron Hill, Pennsylvania; moved when small child with father to Augusta County, Virginia, thence to Greenbrier County, Virginia, where entered service in 1776; resided many years in Lincoln County, Kentucky, thence in Pulaski County, Kentucky where granted Pension in 1833; query letter in file states soldier died there in 1835.
