  11. Census records give Jackson Meadows birth dates of between ca 1816 and ca 1819. In his father’s probate and in his guardianship records, children are listed in the following order: Isaiah, Reuben, Jackson, Polly, George. Isaiah was b. prior to 1810 (ca 1809), Polly was b. ca 1816, so to retain the order in the lists, both Reuben and Jackson would have to be born between ca 1811 and 1815, with Reuben the older of the two. This would give Jackson a birth date of about 1815. The alternative is that Jackson is younger than Polly, born about 1818, a slightly more plausible date given the available records.
  12. Jackson's age and birth place appear to be copies of his wife's age and place of birth.
