Isabella McClure is named in the following estate record of her father, Moses McClure:

• Vol. 2 - McClure vs. McClure--O. S. 149; N. S. 51--David McClure in Rockbridge complains that his father died intestate in 1778. David is eldest son. Moses died suddenly. He left children, viz: David, Moses, Alexander, Halbert and Betsey, Susannah (since dead), Agness, Isabelle, Rosanna.

Isabella's older brother, Halbert McClure witnessed Isabella's Marriage Certificate to John Allison, and another brother David McClure acted as Bondsman, as follows:

• Marriage certificate was issued Feb. 9, 1782, to Isabella McClure and John Allison 1782-003a & 003b. Halbert McClure was listed as a witness, David McClure, Bondsman.
