  4. ↑ Census caution: there is another Isaac H. Wheeler of almost the same age who lived in Ashtabula county, and had a wife named Amanda. He was still alive in 1910.
  5. ↑ The 1900 census and the death record both give a birth around 1854. The census records when he lived with his parents give his birth about 1851, and the 1880 is about 1852. It is believe the earlier ones are probably more reliable, but exactly which year his birth occurred in is hard to determine.
