  5. That the marriage occurred is proven by many records, that the date is approximately right is supported by son Thomas being 12 in 1860 census. However no record of this marriage yields itself to searches with various wildcard (allowing for transcription errors in building the index) anywhere in familysearch.org's huge collection of Ohio marriages. History of Scioto, p. 330, gives no precise date, simply says that he married in 1847.
