Joyce, I don't know exactly how these names got together but I know their related to my Dale family. Reubin Dale m. Hannah Phillips(Richmond County, VA)> Isaac M. Dale b. June 17, 1751, North Farnum Parish, Richmond County, VA died Barren County, m. Eleanor Tillman b. June 17,1751 (??), Richmond Co. ,VA > Milly Dale b. 1789 m. John Gore. Her brother, John Dale b. May 1775, Richmond County, VA d. Aug. 30,1860 in McCleansboro, IL. m. 1st. Elizabeth Shirley 2nd. Nancy Hall 1816. One of their daughters, Eliza "Patsy" Dale b. 1830 m. William Sallee(Unknown). Her sister, Edith "Ditha" Dale m. John Martin Pittman. John Martin Pittman's parents were Margaret Martin and Christopher Robert Pittman. Margaret Martin's parents were John Martin m. Anna Page. Now up his line, ( Nicholas Martin.) Jesse James ties into this line. E-mail me and I'll send you more. I just really started working on this line myself. Obviously a marriage between the Gore and the Sallee. I will be out of town over the weekend but will get back to you next week.
