Lehnhof, Jun 1996 1802 Feb 21: Irijah Byars birth date from list by Edna Herr, sent to me by Martha Ruff in 1984 Irijah is a biblical name: IRIJAH "Jehovah sees me" - son of Shelemiah, a captain in the ward, who met Jeremiah in the gate of Jerusalem called the "gate of Benjamin" accused him of being about to desert to the Chaldeans; and led him back to the princes. Accounting given & allowed. also Irijah Byars, guardian for Harvey Glenn, reported "Some time in the year 1837 I received of AM Jenkins, administrator of the estate of Isaac Glenn, the sum of $250. Some time in the fall of 1838 there came to hand $30 more paid by AM Jenkins, being the share of Harvey Glenn as heir of Isaac Glenn.
