    PINNEY, PYNNY, HUMPHREY, Dorchester, b. in Somertsh. came, as once was thot. in the Mary and John, 1630, but Stiles, in Hist. of Windsor, 745, shows that in 1631 he was engag. in Eng. on will of his uncle Edmund, freem. 14 May 1634, m. at Dorchester, Mary, d. of George Hull, had Samuel; rem. to Windsor, there had Nathaniel, b. Dec. 1641, bapt. 2 Jan. 1642 (not 1641 as 2 Jan. in that yr. of new reckon. style was Saturday); Mary, bapt. 16 June 1644; Sarah, 19 Nov. bapt. 3 Dec. 1648; John, bapt. 19 Oct. 1651; Abigail, 26 Nov. 1654; and Isaac 24, bapt. 28 Feb. 1664. All these ch. were liv. when he made his will, June 1682. He d. 20 Aug. 1683; and his wid. wh. d. 18 Aug. 1684, names in her will 12 Sept. bef. all her ch. but of Abigail only her three ch. leav. the inference that she was d. Mary m. 6 July, 1665, Abraham Phelps; Sarah was sec. w. 20 Dec. 1676, of the sec. William Phelps; and Abigail m. (23 Dec. 1667, acc. Stiles, 746, but as she was then only 13 yrs. 10 days old, I prefer my earlier informat. as to date) 1677, John Adams.
