Houston Wariner

Graveside services for Houston "Leo" Wariner, 78, were held February 26, 10 a.m. at Woodville Cemetery. He died February 24 at his home in Strathmore.

A native of Texas, he lived in Strathmore for 11 years. He was an aircraft mechanic for the U. S. government.

Surviving are his wife, Tressie Wariner of Strathmore; four daughters, Carolyn Silver of San Diego; Judith Faddis of Oxnard; Kathy Stubbs of El Paso, Texas and Kim Taylor of Strathmore; two brothers, Milbourn Wariner of Texas and Cecil Wariner of Idaho; three sisters, Myrta Chadwell of Porterville; Ruth Persons of Texas and June Smith of Provo, Utah; 27 grandchildren and three great -grandchildren.

The Rev. Mike McGuffee of the First Southern Baptist Church of Porterville officiated at the services.

Myers Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
