In 1880 Tusc. Co. census, Tobias is 47, a farmer, married to Mary A., age 35. Children at home were Homer E.-2

Homer's birth date is an extrapolation from his age at the time of the 1880 census.

Have a copy of his obit... Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at Flushing for Homer Kuhn, aged 49, who died suddenly Wednesday evening. Death was due to apoplexy. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Kuhn and one sister, Mrs. J.D. Keener Sr. of Zoarville and four brothers, Clarence of Dennison, George of New Philadelphia and Charles and Robert both of near Dover.

So, if Homer was born in 1878 and died at the age of 49, his death date is around 1927. He definitely died before Sarah (1929).
