"Henry Phelps came to Groton, from Hollis, and located where T. B. Ross now lives. He married twice, first, Hannah Nevins, who died in 1806, and second, Hannah Blodgett, who bore him two sons and five daughters." [The death date of his first wife in 1806 appears wrong. The gap in the births of his children place her death in the early 1780's.]
One might guess his parents are the John Phelps and Deborah Lovejoy who married in Andover, 16 Dec 1740 (VR, p. 221). Charlotte Helen Abbott, the Andover genealogist, says John Phelps moved to Lunenberg, and then to New York State, so that doesn't help. The Phelps family gets no coverage in Early Settlers of West Dunstable, though Henry is mentioned in passing as marrying Hannah Nevins, and Samuel (his brother, possibly named after Deborah Lovejoy's father) is apparently mentioned as marrying Hannah's cousin Margaret
