Personal History

Henry Kittredge, third son of Hezekiah Kittredge and Rebecca[1][2][3] (Chapman), was born 11 November 1820, in Billerica, Massachusetts.[1][2] He died 9 December 1878, in Leominster,[3][4] of cancer.[3]

Intention of marriage was published 4 June 1847, in Lowell, for Henry Kittredge of Billerica and Mary Ann Gallier of Lowell. Henry Kittredge of Billerica, farmer, son of Hezekiah and Rebecca Kittredge, and Mary Ann Gallier of Lowell, daughter of James and Sophia Gallier, were married 26 June 1847, in Groton, by Rev. Dudley Phelp.

Henry H. Kittredge of Billerica, farmer, son of Hezekiah and Rebecca Kittredge, having been married once before, and Almira J. Townsend of Botsford, New Brunswick, daughter of James and Elizabeth Townsend, were married 15 May 1869, in Tewksbury, by Rev. Richard Tolman of the Congregational Church.
