Parentage

Some Ancestry Member Trees claim that Henry King was a son of Thomas King (1727-1815) and Mary Willis, but that claim appears to be unsuppported, as they were married (according to Find-A-Grave) 1758 in Ireland.

    Henry King married Sarah Shields on 8 January 1778. They were the parents of 7 children-Mary, Elizabeth, Thomas, Henry Willis, Willis, William, and Henry Jr.

    The Kings were removed from the King-Little Cemetery, East Fairview Avenue to Monte Vista Cemetery by William C King before his death in 1939, a grandson of Thomas and Rebecca Little King.
