  5. S. S. Quebec No. 34, #186, in John Dyck, editor, "Quebec Passenger Lists", published in Bergthal Gemeinde Buch (Steinbach, MB: The Hanover-S
    BGB page 306.

    'S. S. Quebec No. 34 arrived in Quebec on July 20, 1875'
'Johann Sawatzky 38 labourer; Helena 44 wife; Johann 17 labourer; Abraham 15 labourer; Heinrich 8 child; Bernard 4 child; Catha 13 child; Susana 11 child. Comments: This could be B1843-C5; North Dakota except that Heinrich and Bernard are not listed in the church records. Three of the children could be Helena's siblings B1843-B13: Johann born 1858; Abraham born 1860 and Susanna born 1863.'

The editors compared Quebec Passenger Lists to Hamburg, Germany Passenger Lists, and where the information was different, included the Hamburg information in square brackets [ ]. B1843-C5 and B1843-B13 refers to Bergthal Gemeinde Buch, pages C5 and B13.

Their children Heinrich and Bernard are listed in Sommerfeld Gemeinde Buch page 1A103-2, where Helena's third marriage, to Heinrich Klassen, is recorded. Johann, Abraham and Susanna (ref. B1843-B13) were Helena's children from her first marriage (surname Braun), not her siblings.
