It appears that the father of Lewis Meadors was Harrison W.Meadors/Meadows according to the 1850 Census. While visiting Salem, Indiana historical society museum this past July I found a copy of Guardianship papers appointing guardianship of Lewis H., Nancy Jane, Green, Harris minor heirs of Harrison Meadors to Thomas M. Meadors dated 16 April 1855.

My records do show Lewis H Meadows as the s/o Harrison W Meadows (b 1811 Knox Co., KY, d 1852 Washington, Davis Co., IN) & Delaney Maize. They married in 1829.
The 1840 US Census has them in Montogomery Co, KY 1840 US Census KY, Montgomery Co, P 282 Harrison Meadows 1 male 20-30 1 female 20-30 1 male under 5 1 female under 5
The Delaney listed in the 1850 census would have been a daughter of Harrison & wife Delaney.
The children listed in the Guardianship papers are interesting, and fit fairly well. I would guess Franklin's middle name was Harris or Harrison, and that Richard was called "Green".
[Note: There is no Washington, Davis County, Indiana. Since the guardianship papers were in Washington County, this is the most likely place of death for Harrison.]
