Death record indicates she was never married. From the 12 August 1925 Iowa Recorder:

"Mrs. W. W. Watson and daughter Harriet of Detroit, Michigan were here last Sunday at the Del Merriau home. Harriet was a missionary in China for four years, but has been home for two years with her mother and brother, Don, Wallace being married and living by himself. Edna Watson-Steiff, another daughter, now living in western Iowa, was also here Sunday. It will be recalled Mr. Watson died a few months ago at their Michigan home. It is several years since the family moved from Greene."

SSDI says last place of residence was Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.
