Obituary: Wallace S. Watson 87, who has been confined in the Greenbriar Convalescent home in Howell for the past seven years, died Monday, May 28 following a lengthy illiness.He was born June 8, 1885 in Kirkland, Illinois, the son of Walter S. and Augusta Aves Watson. On October 27, 1921 he was married to Irene Sheridan.A retired civil engineer, Mr. Watson was a Detroit member of the Lions Club, the Economic Club and the Metropolitan Methodist Church.Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Donna Torok of Livonia and Mrs. Nancy Serota of Pontiac; and a sister, Miss Harriett Watson of Detroit, a brother Donald D. Watson of Florida, several nieces and nephews and six grandchildren. A daughter and one sister proceded him in death.Funeral services will be held at the Herrman Funeral Home in Brighton with the Richard A. Anderson of St. George Lutheran Church of Brighton, officiating, Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery Brighton.
