Harriet Mitchell was baptised on 26th April 1852 at St Mary's Church in Warwick. She was the eldest child of Mary Ann (known as Ann) Mitchell, formerly King, and her husband, Samuel Mitchell, a brewery labourer, who had married six months earlier. Sadly, Harriet died when she was only a few weeks old, being buried on 15th July 1852.
