Glen J. Bughman

Glen J. Bughman, 36, of 2323 Jackson, died at 3:15 pm Thursday at Xavier Hospital.

Friends may call after 7 pm Friday at Behr's. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Harold J. Drexler, assistant pastor, will offer the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Bughman was a member of the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart, a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 66, a veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater with the US Army.

Mr. Bughman was born in Dubuque, the son of the late Harry Bughman and Mrs. Celestine McCarthy Bughman. He lived here all his life.

He was employed as a steamfitter with the Darragh & Associates Plumbing and Heating Co.

He married Regina Backes in Dubuque in 1952.

Surviving are his wife; five daughters, JoAnn, Nancy, Patricia, Linda and Susan all at home; two sons, James and Joseph, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Celestine Bughman, Dubuuqe; four sisters, Mrs. John (Eileen) Wampole and Mrs. John (Margaret) Widmeier, both of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Leo (Shirley) Glaser, Dubuque, and Mrs. Charles (Carol) Johnson, Cedar Rapids, Ia.

Members of the Sacred Heart Holy Name Society are to meet at Behr's at 7:30 pm Friday for the Rosary.
