From Barbara Dolloff: Frank can be found in the 1860 Census, Ramer, Montgomery Co., Alabama, Reel number M653-19, pg 97. In addition, on pg 60 is his daughter Ollie's father-in-law, Daniel Copeland. Daniel was also born in Ramer, Alabama in 1842.

JACKSON, Frank of Salty Community. Age (?) Died (?). Burial held (Tuesday) in Salty Cemetery. Rev. J.L. McRae officiated. He was BORN 7/29/1853 in Montgomery, Alabama and came to Texas while a young man and settled in this commuinity. He was a longtime resident of the Salty Comm. SURVIVORS: Wife, Mrs. Frank Jackson; 6 children, Mrs. John Berry of Hare, Luther Jackson of Gardner, Elbert Jackson of Hamilton Chapel, Joel Jackson, Mrs. Frank Copeland and Mrs. Frank Williams of Thorndale; brother, A.J. Jackson. Note: His brother, A.J. Jackson died in 1/1938 so Frank died before 1938.

From Joel's obit: Frank & Isabelle Jackson. They came to Texas in 1886, when their Joel was 8 yrs. old.

On the 1920 Census record F. A. Jackson and his wife Isabell, ages 66 and 65, are raising their granddaughter, S. Jane Thomas, daughter of Lula Jackson Thomas. She is 14 years old and was born in Texas.
