• Page 68.--14th August, 1775. Francis ( ) Allison and Hannah ( ) Allison, his mother, to Alexander McCluer, Sr. Delivered: Halbert McClure, son of Alexander McCluer. 10th October, 1793. (Note: based upon this record in Augusta County, Francis Allison was probably born bef. 1755, which is a few years before other estimates of his birthdate of "Abt. 1760" according to some sources).
