JACKSON, Floyd S. of Rockdale. Age 54. Died 3/1982 (Friday) in the Temple VA Hospital after a short illness. Services held (Sunday) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in Salty Cemetery. Rev. George Doss officiated.

He was BORN 8/22/1927 near Rockdale to M/M. Luther M. & Catherine Storey Jackson. He was a lifelong resident of Rockdale and employed as an oilfield worker. Married Jo Ann Beavers in 1957 in Rockdale. Member of VFW, serving in U.S. Navy during WW-2 from 9/14/1945 to 8/2/1946 and also served in U.S. Army from 9/29/1950 to 9/28/1952. Preceded in death by brother, Conrad Jackson in 10/1980.
