Facts and Events
In the 1870 census Elizabeth is listed at head of house with a large family. Her husband had died 3 days earlier. She's 53 and the home has a value of $800. One daughter's name is spelled Cinta E. Sparks. Elizabeth was still living at the time of the 1880 Census. At that time, she was living with her son, Marmion, head of the household and three sisters, Synthia, Rebbeca, and Melvina. (Note "Cindy" is spelled differently yet again.)
