In Hopkinton, R. I., (at the residence of her son, at Rockville,) Widow Betsey Lanphear, relict of Elisha Lanphear, deceased, in the 78th year of her age. The subject of this notice professed religion in early life, and became a member of the First Seventh-day Baptist Church in Hopkinton, where she remained an honor to the church and to the cause of Christ, until she was removed to join the church triumphant. The memory of the righteous is blessed.
